GovernorsWaterton Governance The Local Governing Body provides strategic leadership and accountability in the school. They are all volunteers and play an important part in raising school standards. Governors normally meet once a half term to receive reports from the Head teacher on the life and work of the school. Members of staff also report to Governors at the meetings, and this usually takes the form of an in-depth look at some aspect of the whole curriculum. Governors have a very significant role to play in ensuring that, along with the Head teacher and colleagues, they move the school forward in a coherent, cohesive way. Please click below for a list of our school governors and details of their roles and responsibilities. The list also includes the register of business interests.
